Train Station: "Süßen" Suessen, 10 min walking distance or shuttle possible.

Time:

Friday 4pm - 5pm individual arrival, setting up tents, relaxing, coffee and cakes. At 5pm there will be a welcome from Kate and the first teaching session will begin. Dinner at the campfire with further playing for those interested.

End: Sunday 3pm

You can book without breakfast as it's already included in the course. If necessary, we can assist our foreign participants with booking.

Alternatively, you can camp for free: set up your tent in the huge park wherever you like. Camper vans can park right outside along the park's hedge. You have 24 hrs access to sanitary facilities and - in the unlikely event of bad weather - sleeping in the seminar room would be possible.

Food:

All included. We offer a mainly vegetarian/vegan, organic, health food buffet to enrich your soul and snacks between big meals. Please let us know if you have any food allergies that need to be considered.

Handpan:

Instruments provided for every participant by Opsilon. All participants have the possibility to test and purchase an Opsilon handpan. Kate will answer all your questions about the handpans and Opsilon handpan maker Rafael Sotomayor will also share insights & knowledge about his craft. Should you already have your own handpan, you can bring it - however the teaching will be in the scale: "D minor"/"Kurd". Should you have another scale you will need to use a provided instrument during the lessons and play yours afterwards.

Costs:

379 € regular including full board and optional free camping. For those flying in, a tent, Etc. could be provided if required.

Hotel accomodation is not included.

Content:

Kate will introduce you to the handpan and playing techniques, such as rhythm, harmony, melody creation, etc. Mainly, Kate wants to enable you to develop your own personal playing style. So far, after previous intensive handpan workshops, participants left able to play the handpan and continue their joyful journey of creating music on the instrument.

If the weather allows, teaching will also take place outside in our shaded garden under large trees. We're located in a large, beautiful, private park where everyone can recharge and relax anytime. Plus, we'll have a campfire every night.

Terms of Cancellation:

Transferring to another person is possible at any time without any problems! A notification by email with the full name and address of the replacement person is sufficient

Otherwise:

• up to 3 months in advance: free of charge

• up to 1 month in advance - 10% of the amount

• 1 month to 14 days before the start - 30% of the amount

• from 14 days before the start - 50% of the amount

• less than 72 hours before the start - 100% of the amount

- provided that no participant from the waiting list can move up spontaneously
